6-31-03 The Six Degrees Of George Lucas Challenge! Second Edition

 The game known as Six Degrees of George Lucas has long been a testament to the fact that, no matter what, everything in the known universe has in some way come into contact with George Lucas.

Now it's time for the game. It's sort of like the Double Dare Physical Challenge, only there's no slime pools and nobody's going to end up with a free t-shirt. I asked four random people to name four random celebrities, and I'd have to figure out how they all connect to Lucas in six degrees or less.

Challenge Four

This one was tough, but I got the job done. First off, George Lucas produced Body Heat in 1981 which actor Ted Danson co-starred in. Ted Danson appeared on an episode of Cosby in which he played Dr. Becker. Obviously the star of Cosby was Bill Cosby. Next off, a man named Samuel E. Wright appeared on and episode of The Cosby Show. Samuel E. Wright does the voice of Sebastian in The Little Mermaid. Mission accomplished.

Challenge Five

In 1986 George Lucas produced Labyrinth, which was written and directed by Jim Henson. Jim Henson did voices of some of the muppets on The Muppet Show. Dave Goelz also did the voices of some characters on The Muppet Show including Gonzo the Great. Mission accomplished.

Challenge Six

I didn't think that I was going to be able to do this one but I did it. Again, In 1986 George Lucas produced Labyrinth, which was written and directed by Jim Henson. Jim Henson did voices of some of the muppets on The Muppet Show, including the voice of Kermit the Frog. Kermit the Frog guest starred on and early episode of Dolly. Which was a syndicated weekly country-variety series hosted by Dolly Parton. Mission accomplished.

Challenge Seven

George Lucas--> Heather Locklear

Heather Locklear is one of the most famous television and film actresses today.  Let's see if we can put these two together.

First off, George Lucas directed, wrote, and produced Star Wars in 1977. Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars later went on to do the voice of The Joker on Batman: The Animated Series. Heather Locklear did the voice for a character anmed Lisa Clark on Batman: The Animated Series. Mission accomplished.
